DIGITAL FARM GRANTS

"On 8 August 2018 the first round of the Digital Farm Grants recipients were announced, as part of the State Governments commitment to support the widespread adoption of digital farm technologies to help drive better digital connectivity for agricultural and pastoral businesses in regional Western Australia (WA).

Under the first round of Digital Farm Grants, a total of $2.3 million has been allocated to four successful applicants who have committed to extend services across nearly 40,000 square kilometres - reaching out to over 1100 farms in areas including the North Midlands and Great Southern, as well as in the districts of Chapman Valley, Mount Barker, Wickepin and Goodlands.

Nearly the entire North Midlands area and it's residents will have access to very high speed internet and large data allowances over the comming 12-18 months thanks to the program."
