Coorow Shire 2nd Feb 23' - Harvest and Off Road Activity Ban in paddocks and bushland for the WHOLE Shire of Coorow has been declared from 1:23pm due to fire/weather conditions and will be reviewed at 5pm. Exemptions apply to permitted areas and activities.

The Shires of the North Midlands ( Shires of Coorow, Carnamah, Three Springs, Perenjori, Morawa and Mingenew) region have been collaborating together to develop a Regional Club Development Plan from all feedback we received on the challenges and issues facing sport and recreational clubs through an online survey and individual workshops. All the feedback has been collated into this draft Regional Club Development Plan. Public comment is now open and closes Monday 2 May 2022.

The Shire of Coorow and RAC are partnering to deliver a Leeman Community Fresco as part of RAC's Reconnect WA initiative. The project will see a 12-month pilot project run along Rudduck Street from the corner of Nairn Street heading west towards the foreshore where the community can meet, socialise, and relax in Leeman.
